A Boy's TaleA Poem by The Majestic e-Gal
What a blissful day,
To tell you, How much I love you. What a charming face, Yet fragile, You have upon you. What a nice response, To kiss me, So that we embrace. What a painful truth, To hear that, Our love cannot be. An arrogant friend, I was then, To tell you you're mine. A demented choice, You have made, To choose him over me. What a delicate flower, You present, What does this act mean? What have you done now! Please love me, For I will be more. You push me away, Shedding tears, Saying it is my fault. I ask how that is, I love you! I won't break your heart. You pull my collars, Gripping hard, Soon we're eye to eye. Your voice fills my ears, A whisper, That could make me cry. You say you love me, But there's HIM, Whom you love much more. You say he's the one, And only, That will stand by you. No this can't be true! You love him, Then you let me go. Without saying goodbye, You leave me, Under your shadow.
