You Make Me Sneeze

I wrote this one recently as a present to my partner, but I’d love some advice on any ways to improve it before I show it to him! Thanks!

you make me sneeze
that is to say
the sun makes me sneeze
makes me scrunch up my eyes
and crinkle my nose
and when you say nice things
which you often do, you know
i scrunch up my eyes
and crinkle my nose
which i suppose
is my way of saying
that you light up my life
are the sun after a cloudy day
though i know that you like those days
they give you energy
but i still prefer the sun
even though it makes me sneeze
which means, i guess
and by ‘i guess’ i mean ‘i know’
that i prefer You
all of this
because you sneeze
whenever you eat chocolate
but eat it anyway
because you love it
because i saw a prompt
and you were the first thing i thought of
…you often are, you know
and because i continue to walk in the sun
to spend an extra minute with you
even though
my eyes scrunch up
and my nose crinkles
and i always end up sneezing
