How dare me!

How dare me!

A Poem by Meriem Chaabna

Oh, often I sense lonely

I grew acquainted with fiends

In nights, I fought them boldly

I used my prayers to defend

For what is left in me

I plan to guard it, till this life ends

I crave someone on their knee

Kneeling for their queen to stand

Rule, these rebels of Feminists

Their time is up, for that I guarantee

They appeal we are delicate

Aren’t the finest things

Behind every great so-called man

Stand while he shall stand on a knee a medalist

I to my truth am not against males

In return, I demand for all the excellent

        To rise hand in hand.
