Azalea-

A Chapter by Sasha Grey

Chapter two! This chapter is a little more happy, in a way. It is not as dark as Ace. Azalea is in her teens as well, and lives in the country with a father, mother and younger brother. (Adopted like)

Azalea-

There were many things one could say about Azalea. She was a quiet person, head in the clouds a lot of the time. People called her a dreamer, or were convinced something was wrong with her, thinking she was lost somewhere in the depths of her mind. She reminded them of a dragon fly too. Her large, almost glowing blue eyes flicked from thing to thing, only pausing occasionally to scan the lines of text across her favorite leather bound book.  She started growing out her hair in the last year, letting it cover her neck and shoulders, shading her pale skin from the sun.

Despite her tall stature, her limbs were thin. “That tends to happen when you don’t eat well.” Mark had told her late one night, as they sat by the fire. She looked in his general direction and blinked once or twice. She really does live in a dream world, I wonder what’s in there. Mark often found himself thinking. She was his “older sister”, or in a way his older sister. She would always listen, listen and nod, occasionally she would even give advice. But not in the normal way, if she talked to anyone outside the unconventional family setting they might think she was being sarcastic. Her voice was airy, thin, and quiet. She always sounded as though she was talking to herself. Half the time she was. Humming or singing, even reciting poetry or passages from books she’s read.  Her clothing was reminiscent of her voice. She dressed in flowing clothing, baby colors of light blue and pink, even pale shades of lavender. Hippie or tree hugger by society standards she didn’t notice or, in all reality, care. She was safe with who she was and enjoying the person she was made to be.
