Side by Side

This is to enter the All about Love challenge contest.

Would you hold me, tightly by your side,

that I may look into your eyes.

Lets stay here, a little longer,

and share each others warmth.

To share more than just this bed,

but be side by side, for eternity.

At least that is my own desire,

deep, within my heart.

Would you mind, being with me

until, we grow old?

To touch your hair,and run my 

finger up and down your chest.

Feel the scars, that have been left,

and kiss them tenderly.

Oh how I enjoy being here,

in bed with you.

Our hearts beating as one,

and our bodies intertwined with each other.

If you knew, how secure I feel,

here with you.

The longing no longer,

unfulfilled, and overflowing with your scent.

My skin shivers at your slightest touch,

and how intense, the flame that comes.

Would you keep me by your side,

even when we get older still.

For I would rather be with you,

than all alone, in this frigid world.

Lets join together as one,

and never come apart.

For what we have is more than

just longing; its so much more.

Lets stay together,

forevermore, until death do us apart.

For I want to wake

by your side, each new day.

And feel your warmth, and comfort

surrounding my whole being.

Come, my Sweet, and let us go,

to the beach, and walk

side by side, unto Eternity.

This is quite the love letter, Maria. We all would wish for that one person to spend "eternity" with, but some of us are happy to have found love if only for our brief lifetimes. This was a good read, and a good reminder to be a little sweeter to B. during his recovery (pain makes him, let's just cranky!) ...he is, after all, my "eternity" until death do us part.
