Eternity Beyond Death

Eternity Beyond Death

A Poem by Maria
"

I base this on my own personal beliefs, and I respect all point of views. But to me it has been told, that one day, I shall be reunited with those that have departed, once I depart this world.

"

Eternity,
seems out of reach,
no matter how far you reach,
Eternity, seems to be a myth.

Existence,
we are born into this world,
yet in the end, we die.
Eternity is not for mortals.

Life after death?
We live, and grow up.
but what after death?
Does Eternity exist beyond this world?

In essence, within our human minds,
the concept of eternity, cannot be
fully appreciated or totally understood.

Our souls though, seem to exist, within
this world and the next, yet our mortal
bodies, cannot exist, beyond this point.

Whether you believe in God, or aliens,
or have some other type of theory in regards
to Eternity, this I will not argue. I respect
each point of view.

I believe that my mother, whom departed this earth, is
somewhere, beyond this realm, in which
her soul, is much alive, for now and forever more.
She awaits for me to join her, once my I meet
the end of my own life.

And I hope to meet her there,
and live for Eternity, besides her and all my
Loved Ones, that are already there.

I have hope and faith that Eternity does exist,
not in this world, or in this time, yet
somewhere, within our existence,
there is One, who is Eternal, and has never
ceased to exist.

For now, I will struggle on, in this life,
but have hope, that once Death comes,
my life will continue on towards Eternity.

A lovely, and love-filled poem- for what it's worth Maria, I learned when I almost drowned 46 years ago as a young man that the endless soul is real, each of us is an eternal being in one world or another.
