Feeling Gloomy...

My sinuses and allergies tend to act up, if I inhale secondary smoke, and or am exposed to rain water, and my nose feels dead within, and my eyes sting...so yeah not feeling my best today...

Today the sun shines bright,

yet my soul is damp within...

The birds sing merrily,

while my heart beats, rapidly...

The grass is green,

my nose is red, damn allergies...

Today should be a good day,

but I feel differently...

Everyone around me, is talking happily,

yet here I sit all sulkily...

Its just one of those days,

no matter what I do,

I tend to feel lifeless...

Tomorrow will be a new day,

and I do hope I can be up to

enjoying tomorrow, and just make

it through today...

Oh, Maria. I didn't develop allergies until I turned 55, and then mostly just autumn pollens. I do sympathize, though, I have many friends who suffer this. I hope this doesn't damper your day tomorrow. Yup, still thinkin' 'bout you surfing, hangin' 10 and all that...

Thanks. I have had allergies all my life. and well I almost died at 3 months of age from major pneumonia, and after that, the doctors told my parents my lungs had been scarred for life, and that I would be high risk to catch cold and flu and develop bronchitis and more pneumonia later on in life. Now I am asthmatic, and have had more bronchitis and sinusitis as well. Pneumonia I have had twice already between 2013-2015...and it sucks. big time...
