Look At me

Am listening to Nicky Jam and his music is full of much sensual lyrics and so, I have intuned myself to what his songs make me feel to write this piece.

I want you to see me, all of me.

No masks, no walls, nothing, just me.

Take a good look, and tell me, what do you see?

Can you feel, my desires and my yearnings;

Do you see how I struggle daily, to keep 

myself in check, in order to not go running off

with just anyone.

I want you to take a good look at my shell, and

than take your time to search my inner being.

For what you see on the outside, is not all of me,

just part of me.

Your breath burns on my skin, and as you remove each layering

of clothing, my heart awaits, for what? I am unsure

But this moment is not just a pass, at least I do not see

it this way.

So look, look into my eyes and search my soul, and seek me

in the corner of my mind, and never forget, the pain, that has been 

brought forth by others, and learn to see me, in the midst of all 

my scars and imperfections.

I want you to want me as much as I want you, but not just to

calm a passion or a moment of lust, but to break through my walls

and join my soul as one, with yours.

Would you dare do such a thing?  Do you have the courage?

I will not be easy to catch. Perhaps you think I am, but alas

I will bid my time, for now, this desire deep within me, will be 

kept in check, but once it reaches its highest points, I am unsure

of what will happen.

As long as you see me, all of me, and take me as I am,

will I ever walk into your arms, freely.  So for now, 

take your time, as you look deep within me, past all desires and 

yearnings and bid me to come with you.

i love this so much, i have never jaw dropped at a piece of writing until this one. "I want you to want me as much as I want you, but not just to

and join my soul as one, with yours," i love this. it is easy to love someone if you haven't seen them without a mask but a little harder if they take that mask off. truly loving someone will love the imperfections
