Oro y nada más

Oro y nada más

A Poem by Isabel
"

Gold And Nothing Else

"
Una ciudad de oro, or so they claim.
Soon I will visit. I wait for that day.

No tengo miedo.
I always knew about the shadows.
Lurking, awaiting, and knowing
I'll be standing by the shallows.

La vida no vale nada.
I've always believed in those words.
Life can be very cruel.
Unjust and untamed as I've heard.

I'll wait for the night cuando encuentro las playas que casi son cielos.
I'll dance and wear down my feet, in the meantime.
I'll sing with my blue soul in its final moments whole.
Con ansia, yo espero el final de todo.

Con amor y dolor I say:
Farewell to those who will never forget me.

Never wait for anything.
