The RedRum Of Everything In MeA Poem by IsabelThis time I haven't caught up...I'm stripped down of any real feeling.
I'm living in solid vividness and dullness.
Slow dancing to the unknown rhythm of my erratic thoughts
And for some abhorred reason I'm loving this.
Maybe it's because I'm a ghost or maybe it's because I don’t think about being alive,
But I've always had a will to blacken the warped shades of blue in my mind.
The moonlight intertwined with the dark night and it shines a light too heavenly to exist in me.
Rain is delighted to soften the bustling streets and
Life made it seem like it could catch bullets with its teeth.
I should have noticed the crimson seeping through my shirt.
Fog strewn across my eyelids, weighing them down.
Maybe if I braced for it, it wouldn't have hurt. © 2015 IsabelFeatured Review
