Curse

Curse

A Poem by Mercer
"

This is about, basically my life story, how I became who I am.

"

**Curse**

I used to think i had a Curse

Until i overcame my demons

Eventually, we were able to reverse

And my understanding Deepened

The Curse was an evil being

Clawing its way through my wrists

Nobody knew what they were seeing

Turning bloodied hands to fists

Then i met someone

Someone for which i care

After her, my attitude Spun

Finally out of my nightmare

After i got better

I learned they were worse

Feeling more anxious than ever

Now it's my turn to play nurse

Turning curses to blessings

Morphing my demons to angels

Using memories to show caring

Making links with everything painful

With my bad experiences

I related her to me

Noticing a few small differences

But still sharing Sympathy

I found my calling

I gotta help people

Everyone who is falling

Find who makes you peaceful

I swear you can soar like an Eagle

Your work is amazing. I love that you put your whole being into what you write. You have such strong character, and it shows even in your writing. Never stop being there for your friends, they will be beyond grateful in the long run, and they appreciate you far more than you'll ever know. As always, your rhymes are beautiful. Very lyrical. The flow was just perfect. You really should be proud of your work
