Goodbye

Goodbye

A Poem by Mercer
"

This poem tells the story of a person who has given up and taken their life.

"

Another day, seemingly bright
Another issue, seemingly slight

Another night, filled with fright
Another lie, "everything's alright"
Another person, testing flight
Another soul, going towards the light
Another girl, who's lost their fight
Another friend, who lost their sight

Another poem from the boy who couldn't write

Wow... this actually made me tear up. To be completely honest, I am depressed and have been suicidal. The fight to keep going is definitely hard, but the pain of losing someone is a horrible thing to have to go through. I'm sorry for your loss. Also, you definitely can write. I just recently started reading your writings, and I have loved every single one so far. I mean sure, we all have room to grow, but you're already doing a hell of a job. Keep up the good work

I love your poem! Even though it's not that long and it's straight forward, it has meaning and shows great emotion. I can't wait to read more of your work!
