Celestine and Juliet: The Twisted Version Chapter 2A Story by RoseMore Detail? Let me know! Enjoy!
Celestine and I scramble from the bed, leaving the blankets in a mess on the bed. I suppose there is no need for them to be tidied in the morning. As I scoop up Romeo's old clothes, the ones he doesn't need anymore, I find a note within, one addressed to me.
"Dear Juliet, My marriage to you was the best decision of my life. I can't imagine what I would do if you had declined-" I pause a moment and smirk, "Oh I declined alright," and continue. "I was thinking we leave within a fortnights notice, for any longer, something may falter our plans." As my gaze drifts over the words, "Love, Romeo," I toss the letter to the hungry tongues of the flames in the hearth. I slide on Romeo's old breeches, boots, and a short sleeved shirt, only then do I realize how much more comfortable men's' clothes are. I splash a bit of water onto the fire to keep it at bay while Celestine and I are gone, and after that, I go and join her outside. She has already mounted her horse and loaded her quiver. She is a skilled with a bow and arrow, but she only got that way after sneaking out time and time again to practice. Oh, the limitations for normal society are rather boring. I wave her goodbye as she rides off deep into the forest, leaving me to lay some traps. I had never really trapped before, but I read plenty of books on it. I unravel a strong, yet thin thread, tying the knot I remember from the books. After failing twice, I finally get the snares correct, and go off to set them down a rabbit path I had seen yesterday when riding in. Suddenly, worried neighs of my horse ring throughout the forest.
