In ReturnA Poem by Mercedes ChildersI have dropped the world right at my feet He picked it up and handed it back to me I walked through hell and back again He walked with me and held my hand He found a place that I couldn’t see He brought me there and shared it with me He found the light I couldn’t find He opened my heart so I could enjoy the sight When he watches this world fall I try my best to be at his call Every time he walks through hell I’ll hold his hand and all the way out And there’s a place I found just for us Inside my heart, I’ll always trust There’s a light I know he just can’t see And I hope to bring it out for him, just so he can see what I see Because what I see is the best thing that has ever happened to me. © 2019 Mercedes ChildersAuthor's Note

I do read sometimes, and my favorite book is either "The Bodies We Wear" by Je.. more..Writing
