Haiku Love Series

This is how I feel.

I'll do whatever it takes

Just to make him mine.

I'll scream out my lungs

'Till my voice wants to give out

Just to make him mine.

Write a million songs

And sing to him everyday

Just to make him mine.

On my knees, I'll beg

For him to give me a chance

Just to make him mine.

I'll count all the stars

In daylight if I have to

Just to make him mine.

This is how I feel

Do everything in the world

If it'll make him mine.

I wrote this one forever ago, but I decided to share anyway. It's many Haiku's into one.

A very interesting and skillfully rendered rare suite of Senryu, Mercedes. 🌸
Particularly creative is the manner in which you've joined each verse with your refrains, "Just to make him mine." And, the final line change to emphasize your dedicated determination and assurance that you "will" do whatever it takes.
The pure Haiku/Senryu writers would gasp at how you've broken all the rules, but I love it whenever one's imagination can take such a strict form and blend it into a promising story, the way you have here, and in perfect count! V3 L2: make it "every day".

Yeah! You've got to do "everything" to make him yours, except give-up. ; )

i like the way these all connect as you have the repetition of the last line that reinforces how much he means to the speaker...well done.
