I've been playing with short form too... although, I'm fond of the Haiku -- I have modified the "rules" to suit my style though.

Anyway, I should be talking about your poem.

Another great introspection. Isn't it challenging how the best insights come from the worst of times?

It's terrible, painful. Why do we write in pain when we're better in happiness?

Happiness is too easy. We learn from pain, and suffering. Happiness informs us of what we're missing when we're in pain.
