Sometimes

I get a writer's crush

It's something I made up

To describe the moment

When I resonate so deeply with someone's words

I can't get enough of them

I'm not sure if this is a poem

Or an admission

Maybe it's a bit of both

Or all the same

Interesting direction/theme.

If your question is indeed a hanging question, I would say that "YES", this is a poem. Why? First of all, because it prioritizes lines, and stanza, above sentence and paragraph. Some may chime in with the point that there is prose poetry, which looks like prose, but feels like poetry. I do not have an answer to that dilemma, however.

Very true. Though it's not a dilemma I'm too worried about. Given the title it could've been a better poem. I'd like to believe it's better this way.
