Faceless

Faceless

A Poem by Meraki

I don't know what I look like
When I'm not with other people
I've worn so many faces
I've forgotten what mine looks like anymore
Am I still human?
What color are my eyes?
What do they look like?
Shining? Cold? A hidden fire burning low?
Vacant?
Do I smile? Do I frown? Do I even have a mouth?
What do I look like when I am alone?
I could look
But I've no desire to find out
