ArtistA Poem by Meraki
You're a painter of words
My friend Each one a stroke That bleeds deeper into its canvas A surface that can't reflect It's depth You're a sculptor Of thoughts made malleable How gentle your kneading fingers are Firm with each caress Creating masterpieces Each medium feeling as though It were a part of the next You do that so well A seamless transition of them all As if you knew From the first mark of pen To the final smoothing of stone Exactly what you would do Is it so effortless as it seems? So simple Placing emotions in with your dialect? I applaud you You're among the best That I have known yet
