A Poem by Meraki

I dump my heavy loads
Into these words
These poems
The liberation
I feel
The relief

A euphoria of unimaginable bliss

I thank these words of mine
This gift I have
The sword I weild
Spilling it's life of ink
All over the thin dry
Alabaster pulp of trees and glue
Which I thank for their lives

Thank you
For my home.

A marvelous tribute to the faithful homes of poems past, present, and...(hopefully)...future.
Keep sharing your inspired creations, dear poet.
