What can I say?

What can I say?

A Poem by Meraki

From the moment
My pen touched the paper
And my emotions gave it life

My happiness was a lie
A falsehood I forgot wasn't real

It's become second nature
As natural as existing
Writing I mean.

It's part of who I am
No longer my escape from a world
I didn't want
It was overrun bogged down with feelings
Too deep for words.

When I am writing
I know myself more.
