My sanity replied..

My sanity replied..

A Chapter by Meraki

Sanity has it's pros and cons..
But I find a certain pull to insanity...
Call me crazy however
I think I may already be within its grasp.

Funny how your feet move
While you are unaware of each step
Until you're caught in it,
When it's much to late to save yourself.
Like a fly to a venus flytrap,
Oh how delicious our delicate minds must taste.

Whether I am here or there
I cannot say with certainty
I find traces of each in the other.

How lost we all are in the end,
The murmurings of the mad man downstairs lull me to sleep.
Shut up! SHUT UP!
He yells to the woman sharing his room
She's just your imagination dear
She isn't there..
How would they know?
I often ask that myself dear friend
SHUT UP!

Sanity is but a veil
A wall put up to save us from breaking.
Is my wall crumbling or nonexistent?
Or am I simply looking where there is nothing to see?
My love of indulging in lifes mysteries
How beautiful they seem.
Or is that just another veil I'm unable to see past?

Meraki
Just some of my inner ramblings this is a bit different from the original a bit dialed down if you ask me... if you can understand all of this then, well, you don't.

Great lines. You have real talent. I liked the the wit in 'call my crazy', too.
