Illusion

Illusion

A Poem by Meraki

There's a loneliness in Responsibility
The carefree do not see
Only busy schedules
Hectic lives
That in the end feel empty

There's a loudness in Silence
Often hard to hear
Full or barren
The latter instills fear

There's an order to the Chaotic
Much too scattered for us to read
A constant in every change
Sometimes only the blind can see

Bravery in fear
Strength in the weak
There are many deaths in life
It is the unmoving that bend

Love inside hate
Darkness in light
Differences in the same

Our reality is warped
There's no truth only
Opinionated facts
The answers we seek

Don't take it down. It's good... a sentiment that describes yet another facet of the human condition in this present age. It's a more sober write than I was expecting. There you go... whacking our expectations with that little writer-thingy of yours. Nice job too. The ringing in my head should subside soon, right?
