Freezing Heat

Freezing Heat

A Poem by Meraki

Shadows
A world covered in shadows
Lost in its cloak
Disappearing into this
Dark universe
An abyss
A curse it must bare
To carry the haunted
Never is there music
Or laughter, happiness
No shining light
But sorrow, hate
Anger, spite
The souls suffer
Pains unknown
Unbearable for physical forms
They cry, they weep
Beg and plead
Cold they will stay
A freezing heat
To suffer their punishments
For lives lived in sin.

Yes, yet another flame that gives no light (beyond remorse). Did you ever wonder why humanity seems drawn to such thoughts? Perhaps it is just a natural seeking of balance, an equilibrium between them (light and dark, joy and sorrow, etc.) that helps maintain a sort of sanity, a "normal." You've described a brilliantly abstract and eternally desolate fate. Let's hope there's more to it than that. In fact, let's strive to help make it so.

Review :-
You gotta be believe that I read this write not once, twice or not even thrice a time but too many times again n again to get the concept you paste. Yup, that's nice! That's fascinating!
Because #love is onself a pain, a pain that can never never washed away of #rain but the beauty of your heart, of your soul is what that makes the world #magnificent damn #plain.

("I've heard of mah one friend once that 'Bible says, God forgives us for our sins coz he loves us much without #pinch" n your this write really reminds the words of one of mah friend.")

Rating : 101/100!
Note : I #Adored this write!

interesting premise. there is a sad eloquence to this. You've tapped in to the hopelessness of the situation with simple yet powerful words and phrases. Well done.
