Infatuation of a roseA Poem by MemoriaIt's about lust and desire and trying to hide those feelings when something seems unobtainable. The rose represents the person.
The dead rose wilts
Undignified as it reveals all Hidden colours and messages Expose as the petals fall Envious and bitter Becoming cold Rotting away gradually The true nature unfolds A mark is left Imprinting a lustful desire Distinctive and sumptuous Not forgotten Leaving a lingering poison Deadly Secrets and lies die with the rose Unseen to most These will never be found or even disclosed
