I had a dream

I had a dream you were here last night

Sleeping soundless next to me

I know I shouldn’t believe in that

For theses dreams will never be

 

“I miss you so much it hurts”

Can’t begin to describe the pain

When windows break

And kittens purr

All I can hear is your name

 

I wish you would come home again

Like you always would

After long days gone at work

But that day you never would

 

This is a price I’ve had to pay

For being selfish with our time

But if I could have just one last kiss

Id gracefully pay my fine
