How does one move on?

There is no dream that can

Fill what you left behind.

The lingering silence, so loud.

Memories rioting, bittersweet.

The only remainder of our love.

My life in shock, heart in pieces

The safety of your love, gone.

I am left alone again.

Joy and laughter desert me

Sadness fills me until I become

Faceless, emotionless.

Remind me why I breath.

There is no choice but to stand up

Forget and leave.
