Paint Me

Paint me as a the day
Fades in the sky
Topped with happy
Pink cotton candy clouds
For all the world to see.

Sculpt me slipping into
The deep blue of the eastern horizon
Where you draw my soul
Into the comforting safety of your arms
As daylight darkens into night.

Draw me as beautiful as
Your heart remembers me
Erase the pain and sorrow
Of time apart that can
Never be regained.

Write me the poetry of
The love in your heart
Words to bring us life
The embers burned into photographs
Passions stirring to life again

Tell me the story of how
Your love never died
Of each day you missed our love
Sing me the tune of your dreams
Play me the music of your soul
