Depression Hurts. But It Doesn't Have To.A Poem by TheMelonA depression poem i wrote. We laugh we cry sometimes we can't get by the things that stop us that pull us down is the feeling of nothing but the ground we fill ourselves with self hate and self disrespect we cut our skin to take it all in we put away our feelings into a case that gets buried away with our nice other things buried in the ground you have to dig deep because what is most precious is always the farthest we need inspiration to get what it takes some people find theirs before its to late other find it when the mistakes been made and nothing can save you anymore your body fills with fear and regret now that you found what makes you feel lit you remember the days where sadness fled and happiness took over no matter what was said but now in this day, the day you regret the time you put that blade to your neck you didn't cut because you knew someone cared because someone is out there just waiting for that day the day you say will never come the day that keeps all the depression away its in a far away place. buried deep in the ground but dig for it now and don't let your depression bring you down.
