I Am Who I AmA Poem by MelodyPlease read. Personal.
I am just as everyone says of a normal teenager,
I am lost and I hope to find the person I'm meant to be. I hope one day I will grow to be a little nicer but a bit meaner as well. I hope one day I realize what I have talent for because words will end up getting me nowhere. I want to be able to say proudly "I am who I am, and this is who I am". I want to be able to fight my own battles on my own, and know when I need assistance in life's battlefield. I am just as everyone says I am: sweet and devilish, trustworthy and likable, caring and knowing, innocent and guilty. I know my stare is frightening, with the hint of glare I can't help but care. My feelings are there in my heart just like the thoughts in my brain. If you insult me to the highest I will not say anything because I am still building, but even if I wasn't I would straight out tell you: "go look at yourself before you accuse others of being ugly, because you are the dull knife that a rock cannot sharpen." I'd like to think I'm weak, but I acknowledge that I am strong and I know my heart can lift ten cars in a heartbeat. I have yet more room to grow and I can't wait for the peak because of the plate tectonics causing this quaking, but I am who I am, because that is who I am. If you cannot deal with it, nobody ever said you had to be in my life, I will simply state now what needs to be stated.
