Something written awhile ago. Please read. :)

Today,

I felt free,

free like a bird-

released from its cage.

 

Today,

there was nothing

calling me into another room.

 

I felt free,

like a fish born

gladly born in the open sea.

 

Today was the day,

where I wrote to no sorrow,

only to feel gay. [happy]

 

Today,

I used my words,

showed them my skills

that life had so far taught me.
