Meaning Of Goodbye

The reason their is a "good" in front of "bye"..

Eternal.
Forever without you.
Never seeing, never hearing.
Never hearing, never wishing for you.
Never wishing for you, never feeling for you.
Never feeling for you, never remembering.
Never remembering, all memories lost.
All memories lost, holding on to a line.
Holding on, slipping- little by little.
Slipping daily, constantly sleeping
Always sleep, shallow breathing.
Weak breath, slowing pulse.
slowing pulse, painfully dying.
Painfully dying, accepting Hell.
Accepting Hell, giving peace.
Giving peace, burning eyes.
A Final Goodbye.

Author's Note

We use the word "goodbye" too lightly.
I really worked with figure on this one. I don't know if you can tell, but it sort of looks like one of those radio volume things. I meant for it to be that way. Wanted to show how a final goodbye is going throughout life. You can think about it in several ways like:
Measurements of pain.
The effect of a goodbye.
How it is dying a slow death.
