Refuse To Hear Me

I am human.
I make mistakes.
Don't leave if I tell you to leave.
Don't stop making fun of me.
Don't stop tackling me in those loving hugs.
Because I am human.
I am an idiot of a human.
If I tell you I'm okay,
I'm not.
If I tell you that "I don't need your lap, I have a pillow"
I need your lap.
If I tell you to leave...Don't.
Because,
I have things that I need to say.
Things that if I say them...
You would just say them back
but you wouldn't understand the meaning of them.
You tell me I don't know what love feels like...
I do, and you have yet to hear the truth openly shared in the words.
You refuse to hear me.
