Breaking Dishes

Read and tell me what you think please. "I'm hoping, wishing for the day that somebody will tell me I'm horrible, insane, invisible,ugly, not important..."

The people I meet,
anywhere...Everywhere,
they always tell me I'm great.
When I ask how
I never get a different answer.
"You're nice, sweet, and you're just...
I don't know- great!"

I'm hoping, wishing
for the day that somebody
will tell me I'm horrible,
insane, invisible, ugly,
not important...

Until that day that I fall in love,
I'll get my heart broken,
break dishes,
ignore the nice things
and welcome the cruelty.

It's hard to find modest people,
honest people.
It always has been
and probably always will be.

I'm hoping there will be a day
when people will know me
and I will know myself
for who I am.

When I find that honest,
modest person to tell me the truth.
Before my world comes tumbling down
I will always be:
crashing,
scratching,
screaming,
clawing,
crying,
cussing,
and breaking dishes...

Lol. Thank you. I'm not kidding, I have heard this quite a bit as of late with my newest writing, and every time I hear it or read it, I intake it differently. Just like how when you break a dish, no piece lands in the same place and position. :)

you know what I love, whenever I would make an analogy like that in real life my friends stare at me like I'm insane but here it's quite normal :P

Yeah, that happens a lot. My friends look at me like "What the hell did you just say? Do we need to call a psych ward?" Most of my analogies are really ...violent...or...hmm...deep. Lol.
Writing is home within a home, I swear it. Lol. Everyone understands you, but they are mostly writers. :) Lol. It is very normal here. I wonder if they have psych wards for just writers. Lol

You are officially one of my favorite writers! Everything is so origional and full of emotion! I can relate to some of your work. I hate the thought of being disliked, yet I still hate that I hear the same words over and over again. Same old same old lies. Just another few words in a failed attempt to make me feel special

I think having haters in fun, I don't mind being disliked, or hated. I'm pretty strong, most people usually get me anyway. Lol. I too am tired of the same old same old lies.

Yeah, some people call me the nicest person in the world, then a good friend of mine told me that one of those people told her I was a... Well it starts with a b and ends with an itch -_- I really wish these people would tell me straight out instead of saying it behind my back

Me too. I think some of them are actually just afraid of me and so they cower and don't tell me the truth. Lol
