Hating you is what gets me by...

Loving you
Knowing you
Kissing you
Hugging you
Talking to you
This is what pushes me by.

Saying goodbye to you
Crying alone because of you
Screaming at you
Breaking it off with you
Slapping you
Running from you
Hating you
This is what goes through my mind

Dreaming of you
Crying with you
Smiling because of you
Blushing because of you
This is what gets me by

Throwing your ring back at you
Cussing to you
Knowing you were too good to be true
Letting myself get rid of you
Never letting myself forget about you
Move on after you
After all of this, are you sure you want to know what I'll do?

What gets me by is hating you.

I've never thought hating would help anyone move on. Doesn't really get you by, maybe makes you feel better for a while. When you learn to accept the truth, you forget about hate and move on with your life. Though i like the powerful emotions you poured out.

It is quite the confusing situation. It's like the scene in movies or books when the person is plucking at flower petals saying "she/he loves me, loves me not, loves me, loves me not..." but instead of saying "she/he loves me, loves me not" you're saying "I love you, I hate you, I love you, I hate you" It's very confusing. Lol
