Incurable DiseaseA Poem by MelodyIt's like an incurable disease
It's not something you can take a picture of.
It's something you have to hold carefully, like a dove. It's not something you can band-aid. It's something that has to go unpaid. It's not something you can forget. It's something that should put you in debt. It's not something that will always be a solid white canvas. It's something that can drive you to madness. It's not something that will go unheard, unseen. It's something you can't always keep clean. It's not something you can show the amount. It's something that anyone is allowed. It's not like a bruise, cut; anything you can defeat. It's like an incurable disease. Love, it's not an orange peel, you can not throw it down the sink. Love, it's something that always legal, something everyone can drink. © 2012 MelodyAuthor's Note
