Mirror on the wall

a reflection of conflicting thoughts

Looking into the mirror
And i think a stranger is staring back
It's not the same person
Maybe I changed overnight
I am no longer sure
What am i afraid of
the future or the past?
I need to reconcile within myself
That there are things i cannot change
And the things i can change, i will
I just need the wisdom to know the difference.
Decide which bridges to burn
and which ones to cross
and know which voice I were meant to hear
Only then,
Will the image on the mirror
on the wall smile back at me.
