Sweeter For the Hour
04/25/11
Our love may be late But is sweeter for the hour Having bloomed beyond pain And having experienced heavier than showers. We are bound to know more, evermore. I bare myself to you, My being yours to explore and consume, And upon consuming, experience rapture. I hear you upon the wind Whispering breezes of skin. You fill my senses, And I begin to unravel and ache. As brush to pallet, and pallet to plate, I quake to meet my shore - Dear Shy - True colors of and to my life, Not to be forsaken. I love you, Baby, I do and will, Out of will and choice With all that is me: My possessions, my creativity, My passions, my spirit, My heart, my soul, my voice, My desire - as fire, or fan to your fire, Incredibly. And when the day is done And seeming too good to be true, I wrap it up in light for you - a ray. We know just what to do: We do it all again - Two blooms whose love glows softly, Sweeter for the hour, Knowing what they've gained!
