Give and Take

So much tissue on the floor

Used up like broken glass

And scattered. I want more,

Know that we are more than that.

　

I reach to touch you,

I don't want to have to ask

Or feel ashamed. You let me touch you;

Please, let's pull away our masks.

　

It's more than my lips that say your name,

And it's all said from a place of true love, Baby.

You touch me and I know you feel the same,

And I hear you, as I've missed you.

　

You are so beautiful,

Please melt into me.

I need to feel you give

As you take from me,

　

And give me your love, as I give you my love...

Angst is a word that has become overused but this certainly fits the definition in a very good way ... "Please melt into me ... I need to feel you give" Lines like this are just bare the soul and hope there is some response ... anything. You have a collection of these short poems and I can find memorable phrases in all of them. Pages from the heart are what they are ... thank you for sharing.
