The Sound of PeanutsA Poem by MelobldnfrSong/Parody

Hello Planter's, my old friend Could it be we've reached an end? As in(to) this empty can I speak Of how my flesh was once so weak I'd look at you and my heart'd do summersaults Who's at fault? It's just the sound Of peanuts C'mon shake that can for me I am good for it, you see? She laughs and says you call my name A symphony from which I can't refrain Nor contain myself so long as you're showing off Halves or parts Long live the sound Of peanuts I could be in dire need Or need to be from boredom freed Or seeking out alternatives As my partner's allergic to tree nut plaintiffs And your soul, it bares needed protein to my blood At least enough Such is the sound Of peanuts I can bake you in a cake Put you in oatmeal with some dates Sprinkle you in cookies fair Make you a paste and remove gum from my hair Because your oil, it does so lubricate Fries fish great Here's to the sound Of peanuts And should you wish us to debate I'll gladly step up to the plate You can make fun all you like But we all have weaknesses and delight In sight or shadow, in benevolence such as dry roast Or honey toast Cheers to the sound Of peanuts I'd not have you at the bar That's pushing it a little far So many strange hands in wooden bowls Where so much more than madness grows Yet until the end, I'll fend for your playful crunch Nutty much?
