Disconnect

While spiritually proud of you,
It is disappointing I would be the one
With whom you finally learn to practice
Disconnect.
But it is time, I suppose -
If not overdue.
All I can do
In spite of you not affording me
Time
Is hold this higher than ego.
While I bring truth and bear contemplation,
I've not brought
Shame
Nor guilt
Nor a sharp tongue.
