There was a blackbird That was a leaf. I dared not approach, As a part of me is a thief Of all that is good; Anything but Midas - A shadow on a horse Dark as the ages. Oh, that I had no want, That I had no need, That I had no body, That I couldn't bleed. That I had no voice With which to offend, That I were only power And could magically mend.
