THE NEXT SUNDAY

THE NEXT SUNDAY

A Chapter by M La Mellz

It was May 31st, winter
has commenced already and it was a cold
afternoon. I went to Pat's room, we had a
chat about Job hunting since i'v done and
passed my drivers licence. Late we went out
as he was going to turn back when we
reach the street as ussual. As soon as we
exit the gate, the Lady came from the house
running and she told Pat to go back she will
take care of me. Pat went back to his room
and together with the Lady walked in the
street, holding hands. The wind was flowing
like mist on the street, owls on the appolo
line were singing hyms of silent night! That
was a lifetime moment. She then apologyz
for what happened last sunday, as she was
trying to explane, i stoped her!
"SHhhh...what's your name?" i asked,
"Lungile!" she answered. Me: ow that's they
call you Lulu? Her: yeah (smiles) Her: what's
your name? Me: Melu Her: Does it mean
something? what does it mean? Me: my
name is Meluleki but they call me Melu Her:
Ow! Ok. Me: so are you going to sing for
me? Her: .....yeah(blushing) she sang along
with the beat on my phone while her eyes
was directly fixed down on the street, and
she stoped "is that it?" i asked, "eish.....i
thought i can do it but i can't infront of
you!" she said. I said "why?" she remain
silent while her eyes layed on the grownd.
Me: Luluh, can i ask? (looking her straight
into her eyes) Her: yeah (with an innocent
look) Me: would I be doing a mistake if i can
say i love you? Me: Lulu don't you see that i
love you? Me: please something?
