Angels, Sinners and SaintsA Poem by Mellow OrangeWritten: June 23, 2011, 2:00 am Edit: 2015, cut out a part where it lost it's flow.
When will we learn our lessons?
When will we burn for our sins? It's only a matter of time now, All that's left to figure out is when and how. We'll all pay somehow, some way. Angels will fall and visit Hell. Saints will lose their scared crowns. Eternal lovers will break their vows Only then will words of faith escape our mouths, Seeking forgiveness out of fear. False prayers always fall on deaf ears. Words of virtue we don't understand Then we expect an extended hand. Angels will fall and visit Hell Saints will lose their scared crowns. Eternal lovers will break their vows, Only then will words of faith escape our mouths. We will have no one to blame but ourselves. We're all sinners, so I'll see you in Hell.
