Lay your head on my chest

Lay your head on my chest

A Poem by Tim

 We never committed the way we were suppose to...

...now we're confused, not knowing what to do.

We say we want to be friends no matter what happens...
But I think we're  afraid to enter the next chapter.

Speaking for myself; I can clearly say...
that I'm not looking forward to that dreaded day...

...when you and Taryn are forever gone;
free from me,no more sad songs.

As much as I love you I dont think being friends is wise...
Thinking about you with another will only fill up my eyes...

...with tears of course; what else could it be, at least you
guys are happy... you're finally free.

and as for me, I'm left to wander and roam;
I apologize dear Kel for disturbing your home;

And of all the things that I will most regret;
you never once laid your head on my chest

Should be "supposed to" in the first line. That's a deal-breaker, sorry.
