Did You Find Your Treasure In Trash Like

After 20 years with me, two beautiful children,
tell me why you chose to cheat with her.
What were you thinking? What were you looking for?
Was I not enough for you? Did I not do enough for you?
Did I not do the things you wanted and needed me to do?
I have always been told one man's trash was another man's treasure.
What do you see in trash like her?
She is not pretty, nor does she have any money.
For goodness sake, she has three kids she never takes care of.
She is a tramp.

Did you sleep with her to hurt me?
If that is so, well you accomplished what you set out to do.
Maybe she has more to offer you than I do,
although I have no clue what that might have been.
She drinks like a fish, and does many things I wouldn't do.
She has been known to do drugs, and would do any man who would let her.
She has done many things that I can't mention, things that I would never do.

Maybe if I was more like this trashy woman you think has become your treasure,
you would not have strayed, or slept with another woman

If I was a drunk and a dope head and never stayed home with our children,
letting them run the roads all hours of the night,
never knowing where they were or what they were doing.
And only God knows what her children were doing while she was at the corner drinking it up
Maybe then I could have been your treasure, not the trash you just threw away for a s**t like her.
Tell me, my dear, did you find your treasure in trash like her?

I could never be like your trashy woman because I would rather be with my children,
not out boozing my life away and sleeping with another woman's man.
I hope you have found your buried treasure in trash like her.
Tell me was it all worth it,
losing your family for a role in the hay, with trash like her?
Did you ever think you might lose me, the children, or possibly even our life together
before you laid down with her in that stack of hay?

Tell me did you find your treasure in trash like her?
May you both be happy as you wallow in the trash you have called love
And for ever may you and your trashy woman live happily ever after.
I sure hope you have found your buried treasure in the trash of a woman you chose
for I am through with you both.
