I lie Awake

I lie awake every night dreaming of a different tomorrow.
But when the day breaks it just turns into another night.
Wishing it would be different,
never being able to change the ways. Always feeling empty,
always feeling alone.
Tasting the tears of different heart breaks,
remembering the pain of each. Hearing the sorrow screams and touching the air of no one.
Seeing the darkness take hold of the world you knew and knowing you'll never be like that again.
Yearning for happiness that isn't your own and changing yourself for it.
But then you realize that each day your the only who can Change the ways,
you're the only one to push the pain out of your head and use it towards something useful.
Knowing that the hard times lead you to good ones,
and good times make you forget the bad.
And then there will be that one day when you'll just fall asleep.
