Little Secret

Little Secret

A Poem by Melissa Lynn Keeling
"

A day in the life of me

"

The feel of your sleeping
body's warmth is when,
your skin so smooth hard
yet soft drawls me in

Cant help but reach out
there's nothing like this,
to stay close and connected
in your dreams I wish

Its true old insomnia
racks me at night,
I love this so much
the sleep I will fight

I touch you sweet man
ever so lightly,
Taking care not to wake
with fingertips so slightly

Tender hand on your chest
feels your body rise and fall,
with each peaceful deep breath
its an irresistible call

Blissfully you sleep
completely unaware,
of my touching your body
oh how much for you I care

Morning creeps in
at some point I slept,
Grateful beside you
this attraction has such depth

So overwhelmingly hard
to move away,
not to touch you once more
sleepy mumbling 'you stay'

Giving thanks for the morning
this moment right here,
my feet hit the floor
one last touch my sweet dear

Up and to the kitchen
I start my day,
happily I carry those moments
along the way

The sweet smell your breath ever filling my head,
body still warm from precious
time in our bed

A strong cup for you
the coffee is made,
cause your up sweet sleepy eyed
to start your work day

Holding you tight
whispers of good mornings are made,
I share not all the love
while you slept that I gave

My Heart racing you place
sleepy lips onto mine,
its always so special
no matter years or passed time

How lucky I am
to spend all my days,
loving you deeply
and in so many ways

I wash and fold carefully
each pair of your socks,
taking care of our things
time goes quickly tick tock

Until the phone rings
and your voice greets me,
of wanting and longing
you fill me with glee

I share with you not
my minds racing thought,
of excitement nights comings
I need you a lot

I feel your presents
all day throughout,
in all things I do
for you there's no doubt

My soul aches for you now
The poor beating heart,
forever yours faithfully
right from the start

I can paint I can sing
do whatever you see,
spoiled and pampered
is the life you gave me

Spending my time
focused only on us,
our daughter our life
spoiling you two I must

Until I see you beautiful
walk in the door,
a long day of work
tired and sore

All this for me
and our family its true,
Its why I fold socks
spend my days worshiping you

I hold you close
second time for the day,
breath you in kiss you
'missed you' I say

But never will you know
just how much,
I hold you close my twin flame
grip and clutch

House smells of dinners
aroma mouths water,
all my days work for your praise
'good girl' I caudal

Bringing you a plate
a drink and a smile
Show my love and we snuggle
relax for a while

Enjoying each moment
so full is my heart,
soulmates at home
may we not wander or part

Until night grabs hold
you slumber and sleep,
so perfect light touches
this little secret I keep

You got it good... moments through the night laying and just watching your other... being able to reach and just lightly touch. Very warm and felt.
