Where Memories Dare To Hide

Where Memories Dare To Hide

A Poem by Melissa Kesead
"

I wrote this while my husband was going through cancer therapy. It's part of my book Setting The Furies Free

"

The sun dapples the water

Creating tiles of sparkling green

Patterns of happiness shine

Making the ocean gleam

Serenity flows over me

Like the lapping of the waves

Swirls of color mingle

And misbehaves

Ebbing and flowing it churns

My feelings flowing with the tide

Lingering in the salty sea

Where memories dare to hide
