My light

This is a poem I wrote while my husband was going through chemotherapy. It's part of my book, Setting The Furies Free

When you’re feeling the darkest

And the sun just won’t shine

When you’re lower than low

Just put your hand in mine

 

My light will chase the clouds

And bring back your glow

I’ll lift your spirits higher

And save you from below

 

You never have to worry

I’ll be hovering near

Whenever you need me

I’ll be here
